Sorry was trying to post a reading group suggestion list but I cannot work out how to do it!
For Every month it suggests a different type of book
For January it suggests reading a book with a colour in the title.
I have read the colour purple, the green mile so was hoping for something else.
Ideally something quite cheerful
Any suggestions?

The Land of Green Ginger, by Noel Langley - it is a children’s book, but is very funny, and I still enjoy it as an adult.

Red rising... dystopian fiction I wasn't a big fan and gave up.

Colour purple?

Thankyiu all so much for these suggestions lots to get going with - might retread the colour purple after all . February's theme is a book that's been made into a film so would also be ideal fir the people who take time to savour a book ( slowcreaders!)

Came on to say A Spool of Blue Thread or Crimson Petal and the White, but see they're already here. Can echo the recommendations though!

Although if you're worried about slow readers the latter is a big book (I loved it though, probably more than the Tyler)

OP, can you try again to share the list? Might try to do this independently. I always struggle to choose which book to read next, so this could be fun

I can't work out how to but I'll write it out
Jan-book with a colour in the title
Feb- book that is also a movie
March- book wit a nature word in the title
April- a book that has been sitting on the shelf
May- a children's or young adults book
June- with a place in the title
July- newest unread book on your shelf
August- a fantasy book
Sept- written before 1950
October- a thriller or mystery
November - a biography
December- a Christmas themed book
