Same as you Jackie - especially the lucky guesses!!

Good quiz

6 out of 10.

hatwoman Thu 19-Jul-07 17:08:26

I had two unlucky guesses - I knew for sure it wasn;t one of teh options but then plumped for the wrong one of the remaining two.

bagsundereyes Thu 19-Jul-07 18:01:09

oh dear - 4/10

<trots off to locate dunce's cap>.

The ones I got right weren't guesses, though. Honest!

zookeeper Thu 19-Jul-07 18:03:29

oh dear oh dear - I got 3 - and that included two lucky guesses

MadEyemarthamooDy Thu 19-Jul-07 18:05:56

8/10. See, I knew one day there would be a good reason for reading James Joyce

mazzystar Thu 19-Jul-07 18:06:18

8/10 [smug]

lucky guesses played their part though!

beansprout Thu 19-Jul-07 18:09:54

Ooh, 8 out of 10, get me!!

pollypeachum Thu 19-Jul-07 18:13:24

It makes up for a pop quiz along exactly the same lines that we got on our first day at university - to check whether we'd read the prescribed reading list or not. I hadn't and scored the lowest score ever. A gamma delta, whatever that is!!!!

Lio Thu 19-Jul-07 18:16:06

7/10 - v tricky

IdrisTheDragon Thu 19-Jul-07 19:06:04

4 out of 10

butterbeer Thu 19-Jul-07 19:13:48

With a couple of lucky guesses, admittedly. And I haven't actually read many of the books listed at all

RosaLuxembourg Thu 19-Jul-07 22:35:12

7/10 - scraped into the cleverclogs category by the skin of me teeth.

southeastastra Thu 19-Jul-07 22:35:48

mummytosteven Thu 19-Jul-07 22:38:27

6/10. ah well. don't kniow how I could have forgotten the moo cow line!

expatinscotland Thu 19-Jul-07 22:38:40

MadEyeMacdog Thu 19-Jul-07 22:41:16

3 out of 10, but I've had a bottle of wine and made some lucky guesses

Liska Thu 19-Jul-07 22:47:15

I am deeply ashamed. Only got my Masters in English Lit a year ago, but I could only manage 6/10. Blame it on sleep deprivation

expatinscotland Thu 19-Jul-07 22:49:49

I hate Dickens, Austen, Tolstoy and Joyce.

I thought 'Wuthering Heights' was a crock, although Charlotte's 'Jane Eyre' is one of my all-time favs.

Haven't been able to get through a single George Eliot and I find Henry James a boring nonce as well .
