She has won a Harry Potter contest run by our local bookshop! It was a competition to devise a new spell or potion - they called today to say her potion has won and she will be presented with her prize on Friday night. She is so, so happy - she has entered lots of competitions and this is the first time she has won something.
Am over the moon for her.

She is nine. The comp was for up to 16 year olds. Of course she may have been the only entrant.... but it was advertised in the local paper too.

It was called Soul Exchange - I think she based it on Polyjuice but it made you actually swap souls with the other person - I warned her it sounded dangerous!
