Help picking a book for a friend

I am stuck thinking about what to get to my friend for her 40th birthday. We don't normally give each other presents, as a mutual agreement as there are a lot of kids between us and we tend to only buy presents for them.
But this is a big birthday and I would like to get her a little gift. Problem is...I don't have a clue!
She's way too busy with 3 kids and a 4th on the way to be able to tackle anything too 'big' (thinking Ken Follett or other bestsellers). No cookery books as she does not cook.
Oh dear so difficult! Any ideas on top of your head?

All My Mad Mothers by Jaqueline Saphra. Slim volume of fabulously fluid, surprising and emotionally acute poems.

Is there a writer she particularly likes? You could hunt around online and find a nice edition. Sometimes hardcover firsts are very affordable, depending on the writer. Or a Folio Society edition of a writer she enjoys.
