I'm on page 84 of Various Pets Alive and Dead. I'm struggling to really get into it and I'm not sure why as I've really enjoyed all her other books. Has anyone else found this? And is it worth persevering? I know it's a bit old but I'm going through my bookcase at the minute. Hence my question about perseverance as I have tonnes of books to get through!
