I need to pick a book for our Book Club with a festive theme. Could be a ghost story or a book set at Christmas /winter time. Previously we have read the Hogfather and The Mistletoe bride.

Any suggestions, you lovely people?

Susan Cooper - The Dark is Rising. Technically a children’s book but that doesn’t matter.

Mystery in White is a great Christmassy read, but its suitability as a reading group book would depend on the type of reading group - do you love to have a huge amount of literary points to discuss for hours or do you chat a bit about a book then drink wine and have a banter?

Just popping a message to follow. I like a festive read. Even if I get jealous of all the snow!
