Big Little Lies went down well, what next?

Are any of her other books as good? Or could you recommend a book similar to Big Little Lies? The Husbands Secret didnt really grip me.

How about Barbara Vine? Some of her books are better than others - the late ones aren't that great - but the best of them are gripping.
"A Dark-Adapted Eye" or "A Fatal Inversion" would be good ones to start with.

I recently enjoyed Louise Candlish’s The Swimming Pool - about an intense new, obsessive friendship - and Susan Lewis’ Too Close To Home - about the break up of a marriage and teenage bullying.
You might also like Dorothy Koomson or Lisa Jewell. In both cases, I think their more recent books are better than their earlier ones.

I recently read Jewell’s 31Dream Street which I didn’t really enjoy. It was a bit fluffy for me. Her more recent ones are a bit deeper.
I also like JoJo Moyes, Diane Chamberlain and Jodi Picoult.
