I have a recommendation for a Book Club

Our book club just read this:

7 Types of Ambiguity

It's the story of a depressed, out of work school teacher who kidnaps the son of his ex-girlfriend. It's divided into 7 distinct parts, with a different narrator for each part - the kidnapper's psychologist, the mum (ex-girlfriend), the dad, the kidnapper himself, the prostitute who is sleeping with both the dad and the kidnapper, etc.

The relationships are very complex and no one covers themselves in glory. A little bit more of the full story comes out with each narrator.

We all thought it was a blinding good read, and was good for a book club discussion because it is not a clear "'Oh it was totally his fault"

Unfortunately not available on Kindle though.

Our book group has just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. We were divided! Half of us loved it, the other half found it irritating and patronising.
