Start using Mumsnet PremiumGreek myths book gift
(4 Posts)I always buy my sister books for her bday- this year I have got her two hardbacks which are both reworkings of Greek myths- house of names by Colm Tobin and the children of Jocasta by Natalie Haines. I feel like I need to get a little something extra to complete the gift and should keep on with the myth- theme but not sure what?? She would like anything related to style and beauty, home stuff or perhaps food related? Any ideas mnetters??
Isabel Allende's Aphrodite?
Margaret Atwood's Penelopiad?
The bull from the sea and the king must die, a reworking of the Theseus myth by Mary Renault and sold in one book. Fantastic
