Any suggestions?

Nothing like Marion Keyes though. They don't float my boat despite my sister regularly lending them to me .

Have you ever tried What shouId I read next? I've had some good recommendations from that site.

Have you read The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel?

Try Us by David Nicholls - the main character is a bit like Don Tillman.

Hmmmm. Maybe 'Where'd You Go, Bernadette?' or something by Nina Stibbe.

Now, I didn't like When God Was a Rabbit. I think giving us one or two more titles of books you have enjoyed is a good suggestion tbusmile

I like those but hated Us. Agree we need to know a few more you like.

Apparently The State of Grace by Rachael Lucas is good and would appeal to someone who would like the above books.

Sorry. I forgot I started this thread blush

I loved Us too, and A starter for ten.

I also like Liane Moriarty

Have you read The Portable Veblen by Elizabeth Mckenzie? www.goodreads.com/book/show/25431238-the-portable-veblen

There are a few bits that I didn't like, but overall, it was a fairly enjoyable, slightly offbeat novel smile
