Howdy! I have had a binge recently on all of the Mhairi McFarlane books, but am struggling to find any other comedy/romance books that live up to the sweary hilarity and male leads she creates. Any recommendations?

I enjoyed "You had me at hello" but thought the next one was dire.

You tried early Marian Keyes? Lisa Jewell? (early ones, not the churn-em-outs they are doing now)

Ahh, I've tried the later ones by both, and found them a bit blah - but will definitely try the earlier ones, thanks!

I like Mhairi McFarlane - I recently quite enjoyed one by Harriet Evans called 'Going Home' - not quite a sharp as MM but not bad.

You need Lucy Sullivan's Getting Married, Watermelon, Rachel's Holiday, Last Chance Saloon, Sushi for Beginners, then stop!

Those ones are still on my comfort-re-read list, but anything afterwards went straight in the charity bag after reading it.
