(8 Posts)In the run up to Christmas I would like to read some books set at or themed around Christmas. I have the Dickens books on my list. Read The Box of Delights earlier this year. May reread The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Any other Christmassy suggestions?
Following!
A couple off the top of my head are:
The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder
The Children of Green Knowe
Trisha Ashley has written some - Twelve Days Of Christmas, is one of them. I have others too, but cannot bring them to mind right now - I will check, and come back later.
Thanks both! I read Children of Green Knowe years ago, had forgotten it was Christmassy! I have that on shelf upstairs so will have to dig it out. Will check out the other suggestions.
Loved The Twelve Days of Christmas!
It's not Christmasdy but last year I read The Snow Child just after Christmas and that was a brilliant winter read.
Thanks Jilted, I'll look that up. Winter themed suits me too!
Sorry about the typos!
