...what else would she like?

I'm attempting to get mil some books she will properly enjoy for Christmas, and her favourite author is Barbara Erskine (she's read pretty much all of her books and I wouldn't know which ones she hasn't in order to find those specific ones) so I'm turning to you lovely lot to help me decide what else she'd like.

Thanks, more ideas.
Kate Mosse was on her bookshelf too, so it sounds like we're on the right lines.
She's had a really hard year, so I want to make sure she has a good Christmas.

Barbara Erskine is also my favourite author.

The important thing about her books for me is the 'crossover' aspect where she combines characters from different historical periods interacting with each through space and time. I also love the setting of many of her books, which remind me of my home in East Anglia (I am a long way from there now)

I understand Kate Mosse is as close as you get to BE's style although I have never read any of her books.

BE has a large back catalogue and has written short stories. Would it be worth asking someone to scour her shelves and check which books she has. Her early work - The Lady of Hay series is particularly good.

I'd love to just look on her shelves for which ones she's read, but she reads a LOT, and uses the library/borrows books from friends/gives books to charity shops. So I think she's read everything ever written by Barbara Erskine, and I wouldn't chance buying any more by her as mil isn't a big one for re reading books.

Woah, someone's device likes Elizabeth Kostova! I was always of the mind that Diana Gabaldon was similar to BE?

Sorry, computer had a brain fart.

Kate Mortons books have the similar cross over of different times style. My DM loves Erskine and has really enjoyed the Kate Morton books as well
