So my kindle tells me I am 15% in and while its pleasant reading so far I'm not desperate to pick it up every evening.

Should I stick with it? I assume it hasn't won prizes and been raved about if its rubbish but it could just not be for me.

I never persist now if I'm not actively enjoying a book.

I've read it and wished I'd given up.

I enjoyed it but I read it years and years ago, probably wouldn't bother now tbh.

Watch the film!! I loved the film. Read the book after the film and it was good but I preferred the film.

I enjoyed the book, but it's one of those where the ending doesn't live up to the standard of the rest of the book. Very good set-up and then a bit of a damp squib.
Makes you think, though.

I loved it. I have been to the part of India that the first bit was set, specifically where the zoo supposedly was, so I could picture it and place myself there. It's weird as fuck though and the ending is a bit Hmm but I would carry on if I were you.

I loved it but think I missed most of the sophistry! I can be quite literal...

I loved it and was hooked from the first page but it does get quite strange so, if the opening is not your thing, I really don't think you will like what happens in the middle and the end.
