My lovely parents have given me £60 to spend on books, I love easy to read fiction usually take a Jill Mansell, Jenny Colgan on holiday, also read Me before you. Any recommendations of what to read this spring/summer?
I don't read those kind of books, so can't help with recs, sorry, but would be tempted to spend a chunk of it on a beautiful new cookery book.
How about a good thriller or crime fiction series. I've loved reading the Shardlake series by C J Sansom, and the Giordano Bruno series by S J Parris.
ooo cookery book, that is a great idea. I already have quite a few as love cooking / baking. Thanks Remus. Will have a look at those series, thanks Quogwinkle.
I keep recommending it, but The Night Circus is just beautiful. And from the sublime to the ridiculous, I treated myself to Revolting Rhymes at the weekend. Didn't even pretend it was for the children
Another vote for the Shardlake series - it's excellent.
Also, 84 Charing Cross Road by Helen Hanff is just lovely, if you are at all interested in books/people (ie lovely for just about anyone!).
