Now a grandmother and just got aboard Mumsnet, and reading down the topics list was suddenly reminded of an author who I think was called Judy Rose who wrote a series of poetry books whilst my kids were growing up (1990's). They were hilarious and absolutely spot on poems with observations on all things about, love, family life, having growing children, etc etc - a great antidote for stressed parental life (so perhaps I shouldn't be in the fiction area!!!???)! Anyhow I gave away my copies over the years and now would love to find them again but no success so far. Does anyone know if Judy R is still writing or where I can find her books? I think one was called Mummy Said the B Word and another was Spaghetti on the Ceiling? There were others but can't remember titles. Would love to revisit her poems so any help gratefully received. Maybe if anyone has copies they could be repro'd on Mumsnet (with permission of course)?

Yes!!! Wow! Thank you so much; I tried so many bookshops but not a user of Amazon never thought to try them. I can thoroughly recommend these books for an uplifting read - I think the subject matter is timeless! Would be interested to hear what others think.

P.S: Under the Talk Topics shouldn't "Books" have a Poetry category? Could this be added I wonder????
