Mark Edwards, 'Because she loves me' and 'The Magpies'. Both psychological thrillers. The first was recommended on here ages ago along with 'Girl on the train' and I really enjoyed it.

I Let You Go by Claire Mackintosh, very grippy and unsettling, couldn't put it down.

Broken Harbour by Tana French, actually anything by her is good.

Loved Elizabeth Haynes, Into The Darkest Corner but it scared me to death! But then I'm a Big Jessie.

Apple Tree Yard, Louise Doughty also v good as is The Wicked Girls, Alex Marwood.

I'm reading Disclaimer (Renee Knight) at the moment ... might try The Lie next.

Another vote for I Let You Go. I couldn't put it down - a really gripping read (I had liked Girl on the Train, but wasn't as bowled over as I'd expected to be from reviews). Still have the character's and events from I Let You Go going round in my head - amazing first novel.

Keep Your Friend's Close by Paula Daly. Natty is called to an emergency and asks an old friend to help her out. But she soon has to question how well she ever knew this friend, as everything she thought she had starts to slip through her fingers.

Three Steps Behind You by Amy Bird. Dan is obsessed by his childhood friend Adam, but has his obsession led him to murder? And if so, will he kill again?

You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. A therapist writes a book advising people that they should have known what would go wrong in their relationships before they even entered into them, however she then has to question what she should have known about her own life.

The Lonely Cool Before Dawn by Mary Torjussen. A woman takes in an inconvenient new lodger. The author is a MNer. She also wrote My Time, Your Time, in which a woman searches for a missing friend and doesn't know who to trust.

Before We Met by Lucie Whitehouse. Hannah thinks she has the perfect marriage, until the day her husband doesn't come home. I've read two of her other books, The Bed I Made and The House At Midnight as well and liked them both.

Black Is The Colour by Helen Howe. A woman moves in with her new boyfriend and finds a locked room and the ghosts of his past.

I think you might like "things we have in common" just finished it.
