response to the comments of "I'm getting sick and tired of dinosaurs being forced on our children"

While the content of the original post was laughable on several levels, what I personally found to be disturbing was the slandering of pirates in several of the comments.
We Pastafarians are used to religious persecution and mocking, but the denigration of Pirates is just plain unacceptable. As our Profit Bobby Henderson has said “We believe pirates, the original Pastafarians, were peaceful explorers and it was due to Christian misinformation that they have an image of outcast criminals today”.
Therefor I must protest most strongly the comments which describe pirates as a greater threat to our children’s education than dinosaurs. We all know that dinosaur bones were placed in the earth’s crust by The Flying Spaghetti Monster intentionally to cause consternation and amusement. Pirates however are revered highly by we Pastafarians, and the only greater insult to our religion would be to denigrate midgets who are of course the FMS’s most loved beings.
