Moving and poignant memoir . Beautifully written such eloquent prose . The story of her husband losing his power of speech just as their toddler was developing his own . Unbearably sad at times but the author is so determined and focussed . A truly powerful and affecting book and what a tribute to a much loved husband .

I have read excerpts and plan to read it. Unbearably moving. But I am a real wuss with sad stuff so I am putting it off. I'm giving a copy to a dear friend this Christmas.

I thought it was a beautifully written book, and such a sad story. I have just reserved her husband's memoir at the library (Until Further Notice, I Am Alive).
