Need a book for 25 year old sister

She reads lots of chic lit (Marion Keyes, Adele Parks etc). But she has recently split up with her fiancé, so perhaps a romance isn't the way to go. Can anyone recommend a lighthearted, easy read that doesn't necessarily have the boy-meets-girl happy-ever-after ending?

I can't remember the last time I read a book (spend too much time reading MN because I have an attention span of, well, something very small) so I haven't got a clue where to start!

The Rosie Project? Humorous smile

Thanks Shakey, that looks great. I think I'll go for that one - wouldn't mind reading it myself when she's finished with it!

There's a sequel as well, (the Rosie Effect) which coincidentally, I've bought for my sister this Christmas. I've made her promise to read it asap grin
