Need some good thriller/whodunits

As the title suggests, I'm going on holiday soon and want some page turners.
Loved 'Before I go to Sleep'.
Any suggestions?

If you'd like something vintage, I've just finished The Postman always Rings Twice by James Cain. A fast, short read. Her and Alys, Always by Harriet Lane also good fast reads but more contemporary. One of my all time favs is Asylum by Patrick McGrath -- very gothic.

The Amber fury by Natalie Haynes, especially if you did classics at school. Excellent book.

The Cuckoo's Calling - Robert Galbraith aka J K Rowling is a good crime novel in the traditional style. I liked it, not read The Silkworm yet. Also liked Tony Parsons' The Murder Bag.

If you like historical crime novels, then S J Parris' Giordano Bruno series is good - begins with Heresy.

Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London is enjoyable. As is Susan Hill's Simon Serrailler series beginning with The Various Haunts of Men.

Also agree Harriet Lane'a Alys, Always and Her are excellent, quiet slow burning thrillers that just creep up on you.

YY to the first Galbraith. The Silkworm was a load of rubbish though.

How about some Raymond Chandler? The Big Sleep and The Long Goodbye are his best.

Nicky Upson writes really involves and intricate (sometimes shocking) novels. Josephine Tey is her main character, who herself wrote whodunits in 1930s/40s which are simple and elegant. I like both.

I love thrillers!
A Kindle only one I was recommended recently was Power in the Blood, by Roland Kuhlmeyer (think I have spelt the name correctly), which is about a telly-Evangelist and some Islamic terrorists, from different groups within Islam, plus some others ... I'm not describing it well, but it was one of the most gripping books I've read for ages, and also quite funny in parts.
I also really enjoyed The Woodcutter, by Reginald Hill, about a guy falsely accused of heinous crimes, who goes to prison, ends up living in the rural North ... It's really quite good, and again, a real page-turner.
I also think Kate Atkins' Jackson Brodie series is very good. Especially "When will there be good news?"
