Had a quick browse this morning, didn't buy anything (yet :o) but quite like the look of We Were Liars by E Lockart - has been lots of talk about this on Goodreads recently.

Recommended - Love Nina by Nina Stibbe - very funny - read it earlier this year.

Thanks for this
I loved an Elizabeth A Lynn book called the Dancers of Arun. It was science fantasy and only available in niche shops. I never knew it was part of a series. It was long before internet so not easy to find details about books. They have the whole set on kindle and one in the sale, although the others are cheap as well. They also have the Darkover novels on kindle now so I am very happy.

Got an email about this. So jealous of Kindle owners, I have a Nook and most of the books I fancy in the sale are literally five or six times the price on my Nook Sad

Thanks but how do you see all sale books? Amazon app in my phone doesn't have a kindle sale bit.

Two travel books which made me laugh out loud are on sale at 99p. Holidays in Hell by PJ O'Rourke (though maybe a bit dated now) and Mission Mongolia - Two Men, One Van, No Turning Back by David Treanor.

I'm tempted by we were liars too. I actually bought three not four. I bought Night Waking by Sarah Moss, The secret by Ken McLure and Calm kids by Lorraine Murray.

Zen you need to go on the website and not the mobile version. Click on full site if your using your mobile.

OpheliaBalls - Google Play are very good for price matching Kindle books and their e- books are compatible with the Nook device. Might be worth a look to see if want you want is on there?

Thank you so much Lurleene! Although you may now be responsible for my to-read pile getting even bigger... Grin

You're welcome - although I must admit a pile of e-books doesn't make me feel anywhere near as guilty as the pile of real books towering by my bed!

I got The Distant Hours by Kate Morton for £1.09. Had me gripped from the start.

Thanks for this. I must have been on autopilot and deleted the email from them. Haver so far bought We Were Liars and We are Completely Beside Ourselves. And there I was lying to myself only this morning that I wasn't going to buy anymore books until I had read all the ones sitting waiting on my Kindle.

Bought liars and besides ourselves, also sugar hall (I like a ghost story)
'The girl with the glass feet' is there as well, I remember enjoying that, kind of fairy tale-ish, easy to read. :-)
