As part of developing leadership skills at work, I need to read a selection of books to support other activities. I am planning to read:
From Good to Great
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (plus the workbook), and possibly
How to Make Friends and Influence People.

I'm interested in hearing about any you have read which would complement this list.

7 Habits is very good, though to be honest, a lot of it is common sense. I like the quadrant for prioritising things though.

EBearhug: do you mean the IU/InotU/notIU/notU/notI thing?

Yes.

(Anyone who hasn't done 7 Habits won't have the first idea what that's on about.)

Simon Sinek's books are very informative and enjoyable.

Currently working through this: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0932633021?pc_redir=1413174375&robot_redir=1
(the Kindle version is £6 at the mo), and finding the exercises very useful.

Although it says technical leadership, I think it's useful for leadership skills in any context.

Outliers
Legacy
Growth Mindsets

Seems to be a current trend in leadership to read a lot of these books -I'm doing the same, we get them as 'homework '!
