Another "what is this book" thread.

I saw a book at the supermarket. Picked it up and read the blurb on the back. Decided I might buy it when I get paid and carefully read the title and authors name so I could look for reviews online.

I then paid for the goods and drove home. And by the time I arrived I had totally forgotten the name of the author and the title

It was a recent novel about a woman who had the chance of changing her life. She wakes in some ruins ,she is dressed in rags and doesnt know where she is. She finds a card with the name Jo on it and claims that as her name ( I think).she then goes to a vilae to start her new life.

I think it was called something like 'The day I died' or similar.
