(3 Posts)I loved The Radleys. Picked it up at random from the library and it was one of my favourite books last year.
Now I am reading The Humans.
I was a little disappointed at first because it could not be more different from The Radleys but now I'm loving it.
It's one of those books where I have to keep popping back to re-read a particularly satisfying page.
3/4 through and it doesn't look like it will be a happy ending.
Yes, I thought The Radleys was great. I know the area he's writing about too, which makes it more fun. I've looked at his other books and haven't really been drawn to them on the basis of the plot outlines, but maybe I should give them a shot....
Finished it last night.
A bit of a let down really. The last couple of chapters just fizzled out in a ramble.
