Collection edited by Victoria Hislop. Pity - after reading her The Island, I swore on all that is holy that I will never again read anything under her name.
I have not read anything of hers so can't comment on that. But most of the writers in this collection are quite 'literary' and well thought of, eg Doris Lessing, Angela Carter etc, so you shouldn't really let who the editor is put you off.
