Start using Mumsnet Premiumit started with the southern cross series. she changed her style and now it's just not as good anymore.
Yep you will find a few threads on MN regarding how dreadful she is, started about 4 books back. Utter tosh.
God what has happened to patricia Cornwell, this book is crap.
