other than the fact that I am from Newcastle...

Will I like this book? I do read the occasional sci-fi but not a huge fan (never read Ian M Banks or other authors for example)

has anyone read it or would recommend it?

I haven't read this book, but it looks good for those who like sic-fi, but Newcastle-based books by Mari Hannah are pretty good. I also enjoyed Wedlock - this link might help if you are looking for a wider selection - www.tripfiction.com/Search?Location=The%20North%20East%20(England)
