Thank you (i think).

QueenofWhatever · 22/03/2013 19:33

Thank you (with caveats) - I still haven't read everything I bought in the New Year sale.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I've read Greyhound and the Spy Lover, both of which I really enjoyed.

BOEUF · 22/03/2013 20:56

Thanks

I've just bought the Chris Cleave one, Gold; Interpreters, by Sue Eckstein; and These Things Hidden, by Heather Gudenkauf.

Definitely recommend These Things Hidden. Well worth reading.

chicaguapa · 24/03/2013 08:29

The Help is on there if you've not already read it.

Have downloaded Greyhound, Spy Lover and These Things Hidden. Thanks.

MrsHiddleston · 24/03/2013 08:43

I can't find anything on there that appeals. :(

It's a bit like the daily deals, I really think the choice has gone downhill.

Whyriskit · 24/03/2013 08:47

Thank you. Off somewhere v remote for easter break next week. Will need books!

WipsGlitter · 24/03/2013 09:04

Thanks! Had the Beth Gutcheon one on my wish list!

FloatyBeatie · 24/03/2013 09:10

I bought Patrick Gale's A Perfectly Good Man. His Notes from an Exhibition is very readable, and thoughtful, kind, touching. I'm pretty sure that A Perfectly Good Man will be well worth £2.49.

Thanks for the link to the sale.

Southeastdweller · 24/03/2013 10:55

Thanks for this. Think I'll get The Help, which is £1.99 at the moment.

UseHerName · 24/03/2013 10:59

hmmm i'm with MrsHiddleston ...

PipkinsPal · 24/03/2013 11:09

Thanks, got Hairy Dieters for £1.99.

Dunlurking · 24/03/2013 17:35

Have recently reread Andrew Davidson's The Gargoyle and I found it just as unputdownable the second time round - would definitely recommend it for 99p.......

pigsinmud · 24/03/2013 17:47

I nearly bought "The Night Rainbow" - liked the look of the cover BlushHaven't bought anything yet!
