I know it's not everyones cup of tea but I fell in love with it and fell in love with O.

I loved the way the story was told from a third person pov and didn't give too much away as to why O was the way she was, I found the ending so sad and it left me wanting to know more. Loved the fact that it's a classic and set in Paris.

But now I need something else.

I suggest something wholesome like Scenes from a Clerical Life by George Eliot:-)

There's a second volume to the story also written by Pauline Reage, have you read that?

Or how about Les Liasons Dangeruese? Also set in France, though not Paris and is based around the idea of sexual manipulation.

Thanks

Yes I've read the second part The Return to Chateau, it was strange, felt rushed and almost like it was written by someone else.
