Hi.......already thinking Christmas presents! Each year I buy my husband a new gardening book, he has an allotment. He knows his stuff yet likes to read hoping to find new tips. Any ideas please?

I have "you are what you grow", which is essentially an alotmenteer's diary over a year.
DK "the preserving book"
RHS "grow your own fruit" by Carol Klein
River cottage veg book

Have a look on "the book people", you can usually pick up good gardening books cheap on there.

If he is a fan of Seeds of Italy then there is their new cookbook . I bought it for dh on the basis that he could cook and tell me what to grow (I have an allotment but hate cooking). It includes growing tips and descriptions of their unusual varieties. Paulo Arrigo also does courses like this next one at Petersham Nurseries which looks fun.
