erotic fiction suggestions please

just had dc2 to add to a 2 year old. DH and I are looking forward to resuming our sex life although aware this could be challenging with two young children. To help us along our way I would like to read some erotic literature. I am aware that we are going to have limited time to wind each other up so to speak and want to get myself in the mood. Guess we have a pretty normal sex life so not looking for anything too tame, but nothing over the top either.
Grateful for suggestions please.................................

I'm beginning to suspect that the PR for this book is being carried out by a genius of epic proportions, how many more ways can this book get mentioned?

I like historical erotica. It's interesting and not cheesy at all. Just read the collectors addition of victorian lesbian erotica by dr major somebody or other. It's good. Theres also one lacsivious bodies which is a look at erotica of the 18th century. I find em sexy but not cheesy. If it whets your appitite, you could try marquis d sade. It's very shockingly rude though. It was written to shock the prudish wealthy and religious of the time. Think he was locked up for writing it. It's not a turn on read though. It's interesting but very shocking.

Have Fifty but haven't read it yet.

Have you read Women on Top/Men in Love by Nancy Friday? They are, ahem, quite filthy racey.

Black lace series of erotic fiction for women. Lots of different authors, time periods, straight or particular fetishes all done.

Ooh ooh, I used to write Black Lace 10 years ago and I am wondering/hoping there will be a revival on the back of Fifty Shades of Grey.
I just dunno how she did it! It baffles me.

Anais Nin?

I liked A Hundred Strokes of the Brush Before Bed, by Melissa P. Anais Nin is also good, but a bit too much in places for my liking. I seem to be remembering a bit of bestiality and perhaps underage stuff....

The Ages of Lulu was good. It was massive in Spain a few years back then became a film.

Don't think it's allowed to say here. I did not however write 50 shades of Grey. Sadly.

Look on literotica. If you can't find anything worth reading then pm me for author recommendations, there are some hidden gems :)

Any recommendations for M/M but aimed at women rather than gay guys? I read a fair bit of slashfic Blush, but was looking for something less character-specific. For some reason I seem to lose interest if there's a woman involved.

Second literotica. Free and varied

Also, 50 shades is bloody awful. It's not very good erotica and the rest of the writing is dire.

Owls - lots of that on literotica, mostly written by female authors, too ;)

I like being momma porn queen :D

I haven't read Shades Of Gray but have just finished "Love....from both sides" on my kindle - very dirty and very funny - if it doesn't put you in the mood it will definitely make you smile. I enjoyed it so much I've just bought the inevitable sequel "Love...and sleepless nights".
