I've got to pick a book for our Book Club and I was wondering whether this would be a good choice???? Anyone read it and if so, what did you think? Our BC is not full of rampant feminists smile but wondered whether it would provoke a good discussion....?

It's a good, thought provoking read. And very, very funny. She is spot on with a lot - porn, bras and big knickers spring to mind. Should get you talking - my partner (male) and I have read it and I have passed it on to teenage dd!

Bloody brilliant book... Spot on, funny, realistic and should generate a good discussion.

Do you realise it's non fiction? It is good, very easy to read, part memoir part feminism-lite. Dont expect anything groundbreaking.

Yes, it's very funny. More of a memoir with feminist slant than an actual feminist book.

I started it this morning and I'm almost half way though already (even read it while brushing my teeth).... it's hitting the nail on the head for me. And funny.

Very funny and readable. I loved it so much I am off to a reading on Friday and am feeling very excited. I think I have a new woman crush grin
