Does New Weightwatchers System Still use Points and Easy to Use?

Thinking of joining weightwatchers, did it many years ago with my mum and lost a good amount of weight but thats because we liked the points system and it was all very clear.

Ive googled and there is a new system for 2019 inc an app.
Is it still points based and is it easy to follow and the app easy to use thinking in particular for my elderly mother.

Hi, it's still points based but it's smartpoints not propoints now. And a lot more free foods than there were before. I don't have the app but instead use the calculator. I'm a pro points veteran and have found it easy to get used to smartpoints.
