New WW plan?

Hi all

I did WW a while ago and then it was propoints. I understand it's changed now.

Can anybody give me an idea of how it works now? I have been given 12 weeks free via my GP after a health check, I was mortified to learn the results of my blood test point to prediabests.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Gettintrim! It's similar in that you get a points budget to work with but there are many more zero point foods. I'm not an expert so others may know more updates! Mainly the plan tries to guide you in the direction of making better choices and the weight loss should follow. I'd definitely recommend it especially if your doctor is recommending this for you, it's a very healthy approach, good luck!

I think propoints were quite a while back, so not sure whether you still had dailies and weeklies back then.

Basically, you now have two sets of points - the first are your dailies and you can roll over up to 4, but you use them each day as you like. You then get a separate amount of weekly points which you can use as you like over the week (whether you spread them out over the week or save them for the weekend).

The big difference if I remember is that you used to get a nice amount of propoints, but on smartpoints you will find you get a much lower number, so that you have to be 'smarter' with your allowance. There are also many more free foods, so things like chicken breast and some fish are free food now. Although your number is lower, you can use more free food to make up for it (it is just harder having lots of higher point food).
