Thinking of joining online

Hi sorry if I sound silly....
I'm looking to join Weight watchers next week - I want to do it online but would love the books as never done this diet before.
I picked up Woman's magazine and it had a voucher for a free meeting, do I go along to that 1st then sign up online or sign up online 1st then go to a meeting.
Thanks in advance... also any tips be grateful!

To be able to get the books/info is the reason I will go to the meeting. If that wasn't clear

I think if you sign up at the meeting you can only sign up for meetings + online. I don't think you get all the books in one go either, but I could be wrong.
