I have 3 stone to lose and went to my first meeting last night.

I would love to have (and give) some encouragement and the odd kick up the backside to keep on track.

All hints and tips from people who are managing well on ww would be really appreciated too.

Hi ive been doing WW for 6 months and lost 15 pounds - slow but I've only got another 2 to go. There's a good fb group weightwatchers smart points uk which has lots of tips and menu/recipe ideas. Good luck!

Good luck on your journey! I have been following the plan since July last year. Lost 9.5st so far. There is also another great FB group 'Weight Watchers - No Count Friends'. Whilst it is geared towards those doing No Count, there are lots of ideas and recipes which can easily be pointed.

Me! Started today with 3 stone to lose also. Started on 30 daily points and 42 weeklies. Have used 10 already on breakfast! I need to get up to speed quickly on better options.

Me! Went to my first meeting on Saturday. Two stone to lose.

Am doing No Count as I always cook from scratch and can't be bothered to faff around weighing out everything I eat. Not finding it too bad so far but will see what the scales say this weekend...

Wow well done! That's amazing! I'm trying to resist the urge to weigh myself as I'm only half way through my first week... Need to just stick it out until Saturday!

That's great well done on the 5 pound loss. I had to use 2 weeklies yesterday. Was hoping to save them til the weekend but think I'll need to incorporate them everyday to make it doable !

Thank you and good luck to everyone.

mrs40 I used all of my weeklies so I was even more pleased with the loss.
I know everyone says they are they to lose but I didn't really believe them !

Hi Ladies

I have joined WW online (this is day 2) and omg, it’s really helping ms to reassess what I am eating. I have a 17 week old baby and need to lose 2st to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 9st. I have never had a belly on me before and was always working out 5-6 days a week, so i just feel really eughhh at the moment. Hoping i can get a good weight loss over the next few weeks Smile
All the best luck!

So I had weigh-in today - 4 pounds down! I'm really pleased. Need to be careful this week as I have a fancy meal out next weekend and I'll definitely be having pudding!

Really enjoying the no count programme, so happy about being allowed carbs. Jacket potato for dinner tonight Smile

Signed up today to start at meetings on Tuesday. Lost 2.5 stone on WW in the past but it sneaks back on when I stop tracking. Will probably have 2ish stone to lose (again) Sad. Feel annoyed at being back to this stage again but looking forward to embracing the control I feel when tracking.

Will report back after weigh in on Tues.

How are people finding new points system?

Would it be ok if I joined you all? I am starting tomorrow. Live in Spain so can't get all of the WW foods but can get plenty of fresh food! Just need to get my head around points after doing SW xxx

Hi,

Can i join you please. I joined WW on line on Friday. I'm currently the heaviest i've ever been. Heavier than the day before i gave birth and even heavier than my husband was when we met. I've 3 stone to loose. Haven't done WW for 10 years, points system is very different to the way i remember. I have to use points, portion control is very much needed here. Tips and advice would be very welcome.

4 pounds down in week one for me! Only another 40 to go! Blush
Points do seem to be working for me and I used every single weekly point !

Helloooo👋🏼 can I join too please.

I signed up online this morning and I could really do with some support. I need to lose 2 stones by February next year. Do you think this is possible?
I'm getting married in June and my dressmaker is starting my dress in Feb ( although she has said she can delay it until 6 weeks before the wedding if necessary).
I need a framework/structure otherwise I'll just end up repeating the same mistakes and not shift this weight.
I've never done WW before so fingers crossed for a good result!

2 stones by February is definitely do-able maiden

Good luck with it ! I find the routine helps and having guidelines to stick to is ( so far) keeping me on track.

2 pounds gone tonight Grin I was hoping for a little bit more but half a stone in two weeks I will take that !

Well done mrs40 that is fan , you must be really chuffed.

How you getting on with it munchkins?

Congratulations on the losses. It makes me feel really motivated to hear others are losing. Gives me faith that this diet will work.

I feel like i'm eating more than i ever did before. I'm eating lots of fruit. (I love the overnight oats, even if is wasn't doing WW i'd definitely want to eat those) Just hope I show a loss when i weigh myself on Friday morning.

It actually feels weird not to be hungry. I'm usually living in a famine or feast mode, starve myself because i need to lose weight then so hungry i stuffed myself with high cal food. Keeping my meals regular and controlled feels good. Hope i can keep this up.

Well not as bad as it could have been 2 stone to lose as i thought. I am going to track and point this week as I feel I need to be far more aware of everything I eat (and drink) not just proper meals.

DH working at the wknd so we can’t lead each other astray.

I love the Wee candies but £1.75 is a bit steep - any cheaper alternatives you can recommend?

Evening everyone
I’m thinking of joining ww, could someone tell what to expect on the first meeting. Bit nervous.
Also will I be given any books, how do I convert normal (not weight watchers foods) into points. Will someone at the meetings explain it all to me.
I really need to join, I need to stand on scales in front of someone every week to motivate me.
Thanks everyone
