Losing motivation

Hi :)

I joined WW a couple of months ago and had some really good losses in my first weeks and I was so proud of myself. I desperately need to lose weight.

However, I seem to have completely lost the way. I want to get back on it but I seem to have developed a habit of not going to meetings when I feel like I might have gained.

I don't know what to do. If I have a bad day, I give up. I feel like I am never going to do it and I am going to be fat and unhealthy forever.

Motivation, where have you gone? :( Any ideas of how to combat this?

TIA

First of all, go to your meetings, get weighed and stay for the talk. The time you need your meeting most is when you think you've gained. You won't be judged, you will get support.

Track, track and track. Even if you've had a binge track all your points. Remind yourself of how well you've done so far and how great you've felt when you've been weighed and told you've lost weight. What benefits have you noticed? Clothes fitting better? Not so out of breath? People complimenting you? Have you got a special occasion or something coming up that you can focus on as a goal for your weight loss? What made you join WW in the first place? Focus on that. Set yourself a goal and write it down. Put it somewhere visible.

Contact your leader and let him/her know you are struggling so they can give you some extra support. You CAN do this, just keep going to your meeting though, that is absolutely key.
