Does anyone have the WW point calculating cooking scales?

I was wondering about getting these...

I cook quite a bit from scratch and if I am not careful my portion size gets a bit out of control. I was wondering if they would help. I eat quite a bit of lean meat, rice, nuts etc.

I don't want to spend £40 on a gimmick though.

I had a look at them and got a much cheaper normal digital set in the end because I couldn't see how I could justify the cost when i can weigh something and check my app/laptop instantly! I would be interested on other peoples reviews of them for future reference!

I quite liked the idea of them because I need to be quick in the kitchen...I will ask at the group when I next go.

I have them and find them really useful, I do try to get the maximum for my points that I can (weigh out my pasta, put on until it gets to the next point and then take one off) so not really sure if it helps.

They seem to go on special offer a couple of times a year so it might be worth looking out for one.

I have a set that I purchased on special offer. I think £10 off.

No longer do WW but use the scales as regular kitchen scales.

But yes if you have the WW app and books then you can just weigh your item and work out the points yourself.

Well I bought them (not on offer).

Now that I am using them I do find them faster than the app and I don't have to worry if my hands are covered in food...or if my phone is upstairs (it often is), or if the DCs are hogging the tablets/laptop. I am probably eating a bit more of a variety as a result.

I did also think that if any point in the future I was not subscribed to WW I would at least still be able to work out points.

I've got them (on promotion some years back) like PP, I use them as ordinary kitchen scales. As I'm doing F and H, they probably don't get used for PPing as often as they would if I was doing all pPoints.
