what do you once you lost the weight?

Ok so I am practically there now- bit of tweaking this side or just after xmas and I will be happy enough. Lost about 3 stone over the year and most of the time my eating is in check- I haven't been on a 'diet'as such.

But what now? I have spent my whole life obsessing about my weight! Has anyone else felt this way? It is weird and I think not having this 'weight angst' if i do lose this last bit of weight is what is keeping me tantalisingly short of my final goal.
Any answers? I am genuinely perplexed by my reaction.

Should be 'what did you do once you'd lost the weight?'
maybe i can just obsess about my grammar?

Well done on achieving your goal weight. That must be very rewarding. I would imagine you just need to carry on eating healthy although not be too stressed about having an off day every so often but just if you do then be good the next day.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on although I think it will be a while until I am at that stage.

I have just continued to eat healthily, and to be honest I really enjoy it now. I do think about what I'm eating but not obsessively so. I try to keep things in check during the week and then I have treats and high calorie foods at the weekends or when I go out for a meal - I can't be doing with not having what I want in a restaurant. I just about gave up alcohol when I was loosing weight and I have not (yet) returned to my old ways and I think that helps. I keep an eye on my portion size as well as I know I used to pile far too much food on my plate.
Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with paying attention to what you eat, that is all it is really as long as you cut youself some slack from time to time.

I'm in the same place right now... I'm loosing weight for the first time ever, have lost about half my target loss... however i dont know how i'm going to feel about myself once i get there... My worry is that i'm picking at things that were never an issue until i've started to loose weight. I dont want to become a control freak about my looks etc... But i feel so much better about myself in general atm, so hoping that it stays that way.

Well done on the weight loss... you've done very well!!

Well done on losing all that weight

I agree with Dorothyredboots, not that much changes really.

I still watch what I eat and exercise to maintain my weight, good health and because it makes me feel better.
