no though i am on a giving up dairy and red meat thing (ditto on the chocolate )
keep at it shes great sure you will lose if you stop the choc !!
im going to try to get some green and blacks minatures for that choccy craving- the plain ones are dairy free (so less calories ) and are small enough not to be too naughty

No. If following her regime means looking like she does at 42 I'd rather stick to my own "regime" of plenty of wine, red meat and dairy products

She's definitely not a good advert and although I agree that health is probably the priority with her regime surely you would want to look pretty good after all that effort as well. Surely it all follows - good health, looking younger, feeling fitter. Although obviously genes must play a part.

i managed to follow it for about a week a few months ago - i felt great at first but i found it so hard to do - a lot of the recipes werent very nice when they were made and i never wanted to actually eat them - it was very expensive, i think i spent about £40 on ingredients for 3 days worth of meals.....i just didnt want to eat anything i had made so ended up giving up.
I didnt lose any weight either but i think its one of those diets where you have to stick at it for a while before you see any results.
if you find it hard to stick to try just following some of the basic principles, eg food combining etc and see if that works for you...

not much help sorry!

I don't think it is a weight loss diet as such most of the people on the TV lost so much weight because they stopped eating the huge volumes of crap they were used to if we all dropped 10000 calories a day, we would all lose weight... I think her diets can still be quite calorific -- avocados, complex carbs, etc are good for you but still have loads of calories...

I think if you want to lose weight you have to take in less calories than you burn and it does not matter ultimately if the calories come from a single big mac or the equivilent in carrots..

thanks! i wanted a change of lifestyle and a bit of a system boost iyswim. hoping to see results soon as i had severe spd when preg with no.2 which is still bad (after 6mths) so hoping a bit of weight loss may ease it a bit aswell.

just read this thread and am amazed that she is 42, thought she was at least ten years older than that.

Picked up a copy of this in the library yesterday and it actually scared the hell out of me. According to her little questionaires I am a total disaster and she is "seriously concerned".

I'm pretty healthy, eat a balanced diet, plenty of fruit and water blah blah, occasional takeaway and ready meal, but on the whole I feel I eat well as do the family.
Anyone else find her scary?

And I agree, I think she looks a lot older than 42.
