Not fat exactly..but not happy either. Just me? Anyone want to join in a friendly, motivational thread to lose a dew pounds?

Gave birth to dd2 4.5 months ago and since then I have lost 2st2lbs of the 3st I put on in pg. I would like to be slimmer than I was when I conceived though, so ideally have about 22lbs left to go.
It would really help me to have a pal or two to chivvy me along.
Any takers?

There's me, like you, not fat but I'd like to lose a stone to get back to where I once was! Don't need a tape, I need to stop eating chocolate and baking brownies. A CD won't help me.

Sorry for the rant. What was the question??? Oh yes I will join you!! Already been power-walking this morning.

I'll join you sassy. I need to lose a couple of stone and am trying to do it myself. I've been going a couple of weeks and have lost 4lb, but have just had dd's 2nd and my Dad's 80th birthdays this week so I haven't been so good.

i will join. I need to lose about 3 stone, i am heavier now than i was when i was 7 months pregnant with twins. I hardly eat in the day and then stuff my face in the evenings LOL
I do have an under active thyroid, so it is a bit difficult to lose weight but will certainly have a good go.

I was wondering about getting my thyroid checked but the cakes, biscuits and chocolate may have something to do with it .

OK, so we have:
Shall we do a weekly weigh-in -with virtual treats for milestones (half stone, stone etc)?

I'm 11st5 at the mo, want to be under 10st (but haven't been this for 6+ years so don't know how realistic this is. Trying to walk more, and have started doing 100 situps a day to try and find my tummy again before going on hols in a month's time. Oh, and eat less sugar too - I'm an addict!

oh sht - forgot I signed up for this - still want to though but probably shouldn't be eating toast and blackcurrant jam whilst reading the thread!!!

Anyway, 11.5 st here - I'm only 10 stone in my head and that is where I want to be.

I walked miles yesterday - power walked I mean, not dawdled along and I'm going to go swimming more and aqua-fit. I can do this with exercise -I have done it before but it creeps back on with the winter blues doesn't it.

OMG i am nervous already.

I am gonna have to force myself to eat breakfast, that is the first rule to lose weight.

Hello,i would like to join you all if its not to late!I weigh 11stone 3 and would love to be just under 10 stone,CHOCOLATE is my downfall!I am off on hols this weekend,big and wobbly but i will try and be good and swim lots and running after my newely walking son should help abit aswell,hopefully!

ok Sassy, Kbear and Flum all at 11 stone 5. Lts get to 10 stone 1 by 25th August. Thats exactly 1.5 pounds a week.

Why is sometimes you can be realy focused and sensible and desperate to lose weight then you find yourself eating your way through a multi-pack of penguins. I'm not in the mood - maybe a PMT thing - but come summer (if it ever comes) I will be a moody cow if my stomach is still hanging over my jeans!

Right, focus, lets do it (have I already said that? - This time I MEAN it).

Well,ive blown today,started off well,did some sit ups and now ive eaten a great big pizza,nice but very,very bad!Has anyone else already buckled?I will be more focused tomorrow.

Does anyone else find evenings really difficult?Im sat watching tv,little one is in bed and im craving chocolate really bad,well anything sweet come to think of it.Luckily theres nothing in the house not even one milkybar button!Good job though!

I am deffo up for it, but am about to go on holiday and there's no point in starting until I get back, so will weigh myself next Weds and start from there. I'm about 12.5 stones.
