Cambridge or Lipotrim diets

Has anyone 'completed' these diets AND maintained their weight loss?
I'm really tempted to try one as I have a couple of friends who are rapidly losing weight on them. I'm worried that due to your body going into 'starvation mode' once you start eating a normal healthy diet you just pile the weight back on?
Thanks

people pile the weight back on when they return to their old eating habits

A few of my friends have done CD - those that changed their whole lifestyle - exercise, alcohol, healthy eating, have kept it off

The one that went straight back to eating crap has piled it on and more

It is a v effective method of weightloss but you must be prepared to completely overhaul your relationship with food

I have done Lipotrim and lost 4 stone, i have kept it off for about 6 months and have put on about half st on and off. Of course you can't go back to crap eating constantly but if you plan stuff then you can eat just about anythng you want to as long as you make up for it for a couple of days and have a couple of shakes again. If you want to lose the weight badly enough you will do it, i was really fed up and now feel great. I need quick results otherwise i lose interest and give up, lipotrim was perfect for me. HTH

hi

i did cambridge 2 years ago and have kept off all the wieght (3 stone ish) bar 10lbs which crept on when i got a bit depressed over xmas, that is coming off now although i am doing hypnotism not cambridge

it is really effective if you can mentally handle the no eating thing

it does stay off if you eat sensibly and reintroduce food slowly and sensibly

re the starvation mode: if you were to stop cambridge 1 day and eat 3 meals a day from the next, then yes, you may put on some wieght in the first couple of weeks, but cambridge and lipotrim and lighter life all have management plans where you reintroduce food groups slowly and build your calories up

I never followeg the actual cambridge maintenance programme but i did my own version of it (otherwise i would have been paying fro shakes plus normal food for weeks and weeks and couldnt afford that) and i didnt put on any weight at all until this last bout of depression.

good luck if you try it

oh and to be honest, these annoying 10lbs would have gone on no matter how i lost the wieght - nothing to do with it being by cambridge
