Easy diet to manage with small children around!

OK. So I'm probably just stalling ..... but need to start losing weight and can't quite figure out which diet would be simplest to follow. Have two DC (aged 2.4 and 5 months) and am fairly flat out looking after them. Plus I like to eat roughly the same as my eldest one at breakfast and lunch.

In the past I've lost with WW points diet, but can't be bothered to point as am always being fed the odd grape/biscuit etc by son and its too tricky to work out!

My brain says just cut out the chocolate (I eat a scary amount!!)and snack less, but every day I seem to just over do it. Am still fully BF my LO but really need to do something as am starting to look pregnant again!!!

Sorry - long post! Any advice? Looking for diet ideas and any exercise DVD recommendations please!!!!

Thanks!

I've lost 2 stone with SW, which has slotted nicely into life with a 7 yo. It's basically as much fruit, veg, eggs and 0% yoghurt as you cAn eat. (i've made it sound exciting haven't I? ) also you choose either a red day which is as much meAT AS you can manage and limited carbs or a Green day which is as much carbs as you can eat and limited meat. There is more factors in it that is the basics. You are also allowed 10-15 'syns' per day for extras (like chocolate) It is not a good diet if you like bread though.

here's their website I've linked to the sample menu page - choose red or green to see what variety there is.

Thanks Furball - have just had a quick look and it looks like a definite possibility!

You must be very chuffed losing 2 stone - did it take a long time?!

well I lost a stone and a half in a couple of months and it's taken 3 months more to lose the other 1/2 . Just with something like birthdays, holidays, meals out etc getting in the way. I now slink into a size 12 bottoms so yes, well chuffed even though I still have a few more pounds to go.

if you are fully breastfeeding cant you just try to exercise a bit more, eat a little bit less and worry about it properly when your body not still providing for 2? i think you do have a big appetite when fully feeding for a reason - not that i think the milk will suffer in any way but you might get more tired or something if you arent keeping up the calorie intake? 5 months must be reaching maximum capacity on the feeding front too in the next few weeks? i wouldnt worry TOO much for a few months yet....
