I am so nervous but have finally accepted that I have to do something about the state I'm in - I've just become addicted to food but have got so big I must do something. I bought the magazine &phoned the number to find my local meeting is tomorrow but I'm so dreading walking in there. Please make me go

You can do it, and it feels amazing once you have, no more guilt!!!!!!!!!

search MN for my weight loss posts hopefully it will give you some inspiration.
I was 13.13 at the end of 2005 and now finally I'm 9.7 (I did stop and start quite a few times, wish I'd done it in one go mind you)

You will be fine. I went to SW for the first time last week and I too was dreading it. Like you I had to accept that i had to do something. The thing is that once you are there it is like someone is throwing you a lifeline to get you out of where you are.

the plan is quite easy to follow too. I am sure you will be fine.

it's great!!! honestly! my meeting is tomorrow too.
it is my 3rd weigh in tomorrow-so far i have lost 6 pounds.
it's really fine-no embarrassment. just friendly faces who are all there for the same reason as you

Kiiiiiiiiiiiiickkkkkkkkkkkk

{whispers - actually its not that hard once you get into the swing of it, my bf is now on a mission to lose her weight and has lost 29lbs so far)

I dedicated 6months to the start of this year to lose 2 and a half stone and it's such an amazing feeling.

Tell me all about your weight, how you've put it on, why you over eat, why you want to lose weight, how much you want to lose etc.

Great to hear such positive results! Well after 1st 2 dd's I was luckily able to lose my weight no problem but after the 3rd (nearly 3 years ago I now weigh more than the the day I left hospital after having her! I would love to lose at least
2 stoen & my main downfall is the evenings once my girls have gone to bed - especially after a glass of wine. I'm dreading seeing people I know at the meeting for soem silly reason!
