Well have been doing lots of baking as dd's birthday is coming up, it's on Monday, so there's one cake to take to nursery, one to have at home with me and her grand-parents, then the fairy cakes for the party next Saturday... Wish me luck! It's just as well I had such a great loss this week, I bet the coming week won't be so good...

Well done mammya!!!!!!! Thanks Yorkie - not sure if your records are right, but maintaining is good for me!! let's just leave it at that! (why is it every time I want to put in a 'grin' emoticon I always type 'grub'?)

Hi everyone! Well done to all who have lost this week. Havent been around much the last few days. My friend had a baby boy on Wednesday but he is now in special care and she is really upset. Know what thats like as my ds ended up there too.
Good luck for this week, I weigh in tomorrow morning so am hoping for a loss as I have been pretty good.

lol Demented - get that word OUT of your brain - you do NOT want to end up with as many children as I have!!!

Evesmama I love you too!!!! Well done - you are doing great. I need you to give me a big kick up the backside as I have been VERY naughty today..... weigh in on Monday and am going to regret it..

All the best for Saturday marj - hoping for great things

Must go to bed - dd3 just been sick yet again boo hoo. Thought this sickness thing had finished but it is to continue to plague us...

Oh have been so so so bad. So have to be so so so so SO good today and tomorrow before weigh-in on Monday. Don't know what happened yesterday. I think the imposed starvation due to the sick bug on Thursday led to me going out of control yesterday! No more baking cakes today - the kids are banned from the kitchen - and no more bottles of wine either. dd3 up last night being sick YET AGAIN - will it never end?? Looks freezing outside, but am going to go for a run.

thankyou Evesmama. I have been very good today - done loads of housework (thanks to Yorkie) and have had 2 slices wholemeal bread with 2 poached eggs and no marg. (Was going to put marj, but remembered that is she who frequents this thread, and don't think she would be too pleased if I got her name confused with a tub of fat - sorry marj!!!! ) Didnt go jogging though - it is far far far too cold and snowing. How are you doing?

You are going to be given detention my girl. And 3 million lines..... and that's just for starters!

I am soooooo struggling at the moment but will try to keep plodding on. Don't want to give up cos if I do I'll be back in a few months at least a stone heavier. On holiday from work next week - which I feel I need but that doesn't normally bode well for sensible eating.
Well done to everyone who has lost and good luck to everyone for coming week.

Hooray! At my weigh in today I lost 1lb. In all, since before Christmas I have lost one stone and am feeling very pleased with myself.
Miam, I wouldnt have been offended by the marg thing! The good thing is that I am less of a tub of fat now than I was before I found MN!!!

Marj well done on your stone loss!! Brilliant - and thanks for forgiving me too .

You are doing great too Evesmama - good girl. I managed to be good yesterday aswell. Am still 9.5 which I am pleased with, considering my abismal efforts over previously. I am going to take things 1 pound at a time now, as my weight loss has slowed down considerably. I can see it taking about 6 months to lose this last stone, but I will get there eventually.

I'm doing (well supposed to be doing) Slimming World. I know the plan works - its just me at the moment! Am going to try really hard to stick to it this week!

Thanks everyone! Having lost my first stone I am really starting to believe I can do this, even though I do have a long way to go.
Just to let you know my friends ds is still in special care, but seems to be doing a little better today thank goodness - its such a relief for everyone.
