I know that this is a lot to ask but....(Atkins)

I'm going to do Atkins for a couple of weeks starting from tomorrow. I did this last time I needed to loose weight (following first child) and lost around 10lbs in two weeks, and subsequently switched after a fortnight to a more conventional low fat (but also low-ish carb) diet...basically it was a stunning success last time around - ultimately lost 2 stones.

Plan to do the same this time around - but bloody SIL has got my book and I won't be seeing her for ages.

It's a lot to ask, but would anyone mind awfully just reminding me what foods I can have in unlimited quantities (there are specific lists aren't there) during the induction 2 week period, and what can be had in limited quantities?

I loaned my book to someone ages ago - and haven't had it back! From what I remember, unlimited is poultry, meat, fish, eggs, butter. Limited quantities are salad (20g I think??), veg, cheese (which is on the unlimited list but is still to be limited??????? anyway I used to have loads), cream, mayonnaise. No low-fat anything - and as much high fat/protein as you can muster in the first two weeks.

No bread/potatoes/rice/pasta but I'm sure you remember that! No milk either or alcohol (boo hoo) and try to have no tea or coffee. And no starchy veg i.e. potatoes, carrots etc.

You're welcome. Hope it goes well - first two weeks are the worst eh? Enjoy those fry-ups!!
