thin people ,,what do you eat in average day?

interested,,been reading the posts about what size people are and everyone is so thin....... so what do you all eat usually?

God herbie - you dont eat a lot! Do you not starve like that?

i am a size 8-10 too

i eat : bowl of cereal and 2 slices of toast with marmite for breaky

snack: more toast, and/or biscuits. Nuts

lunch: baked potato with cheese usually, yogurt, kitkat plus packet of crisps, fruit

snack: toast, biscuits, flapjacks or whatever is around

late afternoon most days: galaxy caramel or similar from newsagents

Tea: anything from a pasta bake to fish and chips, or chicken/veggies. Pizza is a fave! pudding: cake or ice cream

Snack: bowl of cereal before bed

crisps, chocolates, pains au chocolat, sandwiches, toast..

fruit sometimes

nibbles

cheese, oh yes, cheese

God I really hate you allgone . And I suppose you weigh 7st, size 8 and got back your pre-pregnancy weight within weeks.....

I'm bad in that I rarely have breakfast. At the weekends we have Egg, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns maybe once, the rest of the week I start the day with a cup of tea with one small sugar and milk. I might grab a roll or packet of crisps around 11 but generally I wait for lunch where I have jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn or soup and bread or sometimes a full cooked meal from the work canteen.

In the afternoon there's generally someone with bicuits or doughnuts in the office and I'll usually have one or if not I might grab another packet of cisps but not always, then at home I'll have a proper cooked meal usually meat and veg or a take-away (once a week maybe) and might snack on more biscuits.

I'm a size 10.

Alcohol - I can get through a bottle of wine or two at the weekends but am not a massive drinkere otherwise. Perhaps a canof lager or two in teh week if the OH is having one.

Oh yes - and cheese!

I do stupid but delicious things like eat a whole packet of smoked salmon or a massive piece of brie in the car at the supermarket.

i weigh 8 and a half stone and am 5'7.

Yes, actually once i had given birth both times i weighed even less than when i had conceived (due to severe puking i think!)
And my dcs were 9lb and 10lb!

I am 5 foot 8
I weigh 9 stone 8 and take size 10 trousers
I have large boobs

and I eat like a horse and never really put anything on
I eat whenever I want, loads of crap aswell as good stuff and huge portions

lucky with my metabolism and very grateful for it

Weekdays:
Breakfast - branflakes with soya milk and linseed.
Snacks - fruit.
Lunch - ham salad sandwich.
Dinner - rice, pasta and noodle dishes usually with chicken or turkey and fresh veggies/fish with various beans and salad/BPs with tuna and salad.

Weekends - a bit more and more adventurous dishes.

Drink - wine about four nights a week.

Chocolate - a few times a month.

I'm a size 10 so not that thin. Have never been on a diet - just tend to eat when I'm hungry.

I am size 10-12 and nearly 6 ft I have a v slim frame and eat shit loads, huge portions and lately lots of junk. I am really not very healthy at all just hide it all with quick metabolism and tall frame.

drinking grapefruit juice on an empty stomach speeds up metabolism as do other foods and drugs/medications. But really it's just genetic.

Size 6-8. I eat loads and snack all day. My dcs are the same shape and eating habits. It is not fair - 'tis down to genetics.

i'm normally about a 10.

my weight has never strayed more than about 10 lbs. either way since i was about 13, pregnancies excepted.

for breakfast, i have a bowl of porridge or toast and a cup of coffee with full fat milk and two sugars.

snack i usually have a couple of flapjacks i make myself or sometimes a chocolate bar.

lunch i usually have something big - falafel wrap with yoghurt dressing and salad, warmed up bowl of leftovers.

in the afternoon i tend to nibble/graze whatever strikes my fancy.

tea - another full meal.

i nibble evening snacks, too.

think is, i cannot ever eat very much at once, even from childhood. i feel full easily and quickly and have never been able to binge eat - i just start feeling sick and have to stop.

i don't have a high tolerance for lactose, so i never eat cream or cheese based meals or a lot of milk products except a daily yoghurt.

DH, however, who is also naturally slim, can eat much larger portions at once, but he never snacks - he doesn't feel any desire to.

DD1 is built just like him, very tall and slim. she grazes pretty much all day and still eats pretty good sized portions, but she doesn't really have what i call a fat tooth - a hankering for very heavy foods.

my sister is obese, and whilst she isn't a big snacker, she eats large portions of heavy foods like lasagne, buffets, fried foods, etc.

she also drinks lots of fizzy drinks.

we have them almost never - maybe a can of Coke or Irn Bru once a week.

i either drink coffee, tea or water.

the girls drink milk or watered-down fruit juice.

DH water or coffee.

My weight has fluctuated a bit over the years so I don't know if I count as thin but I am size 10 at the moment.

Typical day for me is :

I only drink water (and sometimes camomile tea; don't like alcohol,cofee, colas, juice)

  • bacon, eggs, bit of brown rice for breakfast


  • lunch - today was grilled salmon, spinach, corn on the cob with butter and bit of brown rice;


  • mid afternoon apple and a pear, a few grapes

oat cakes and cheese
an orange

- bacon sandwiches and two bananas (as we didn't have the chicken I thought I'd bought). Roast chicken and brown rice and carrots would be a more typical dinner

I don't know if that's a lot or not.

I gave up junk food last year and without trying at all I lost a stone but much more importantly I haven't caught colds all winter as I often did. That may just be as the youngest children are older however and don't bring so many home but it's very noticeable.

I am 9 stone, size 10, sometimes 12 on top due to boobs. I lost 3 stone last year and was a size 18. I haven't dieted since last November and have maintained the weight with little effort/thought. I guess the main difference now is that my portion sizes are much smaller. My appetite is smaller. I eat what I fancy, I ate quite a lot, but I know it's a lot less than I used to eat. The same things, although conciously less crips/biscuits/chocolate, but I don't miss them. I do still eat them, just not in the quantities as before.

that should be I eat quite a lot, not ate. I only drink water, apart from a cuppa in the morning. And I don't drink alcohol, but that's not due to dieting reasons.

I am thin, but I am also tall and I think tall people can probably get away with eating more. A normal day for me is:

Breakfast: porridge, apple, coffee

Lunch: sandwich, small fruit salad, can of coke, yoghurt

Tea: coffee, banana, croissant or carrot cake

I eat two dinners First with my children at 6 pm and always ice cream for dessert. Then I eat a little bit of dinner with DH when he has his dinner once he is at home around 9 pm

I average 2 glasses of red wine a night and then normally will eat some nice bread with cheese or olives to finish off my day.

First time ever I wrote down what I eat. I am a bit shocked I am eating so much. Oh and I am breatsfeeding. That must be why

I'm on average a size 10 (12 at the moment but I recently had DS2 so still shrinking!)

I eat

Breakfast - 2 slices of toast

Lunch - baked potato or sandwich usually

Sometimes an afternoon snack when DS is eating his tea. Usually toast or crumpets or cake

Dinner about 9pm when DH gets home - usually proper big meal like chicken, pots and veg, sausage and mash, fish pie and veg, lasagne and salad etc

I dont really snack and I drink tea all day till it comes out of my ears!!
