Well done, everyone!

I need help resisting a box of gorgeous chocolates that my MIL gave me. I keep offering some to ds1 but the rest of the box keeps calling out to me. "Eat us!"

Hi All, I'm still struggling along with WeightWatchers but tonight is blow out night! I find that if I have one night a week to look forward to then I seem to be able to keep on track.... Then again, the scales will probably show the chicken tikka masala and glass or two of vino collapso that I'm so looking forward to! What does everyone else do to keep themselves on the straight and narrow (or wide in my case)!?
Any road up, it looks like I've lost a pound or two this week so perhaps couple of popodoms wont hurt!

Hi all,

had 2 very good days indeed - yesterday just under 900 calories and today just over 1100. My daily target is 1275.

went to lunch today and ordered a grilled sole with steamed veggies - felt so ious of DH and DS scoffing calamari and steak rolls...

I am surprisingly not feeling too hungry - dont know what I will do the week before my period starts though - it's always a nightmare , as I could eat for england.

lol at chocolate pornography - but you do realise that now I won't be able to access this thread from work because it now has words in it (i.e. "pornography") which will trigger our internet blocking filters, don't you?

The irony is that it's me who is responsible for controlling internet access and reporting on who's attempting what! I can hardly set the rules for everyone else, but allow it for me, can I? Actually we do know that bad words will sometimes turn up quite innocently on trusted sites (e.g. the BBC News headline "Soap Star arrested on Pornography charges") so there would have to be quite a few attempts before it would trigger an investigation, but the number of times in a week I might read this thread could just fall into that category!

Agree with everyone about having something to look forwards to making it easier in between times. I definately do a different diet Monday to Friday than I do at weekends, and it is a lot easier to say no to wine, etc during the week if I know that I'll be able to have some at the weekend. Right now I'm trying to be good even at weekends as we're off on holiday next weekend and although we're skiing which will burn off a few extra calories the opportunities for diet style eating could be limited.

I did succumb to a glass of wine and some of ds's Christmas maltesers (well he was being nice and offered, so I could hardly refuse could I?) last night though!
