My clothes are cutting me in half and are are actually hurting to wear. Theres no way im buying new ones so im going to have to loose the extra meat ive piled on over Xmas and quick before my legs die of lack of circulation...is there a quick easy way to lose a stone in a month?

yes, join the 'lose weight with cod' thread!

Depending on how much you've got to lose, you could probably achieve that on the Weight Watchers diet. No need for anything drastic like boiled eggs, cabbage and grapefruits (those of us old enough to remember those fad diets of the past )

Sorry but can i just butt in and ask, does it have to be the cereal advertised as i have tried both and thought they were disgusting.

I could do Rice Krispies or Cornflakes with semi skimmed or even skimmed milk, is that any good ??

charliecat Tue 11-Jan-05 16:18:46

Dunno nutty...maybe it was the advertised cereal as its good for you...never tried it myself either actually....

charliecat Tue 11-Jan-05 16:19:20

good for you = disgusting...typical !!!!

BadHair Tue 11-Jan-05 16:20:46

I did it with Rice Crispies (Tesco's own to boot) a while back and lost loads. Don't know how much actual weight but went from a tight 14 to a very loose one in 3 weeks. I put sultanas on instead of sugar too.
Come to think of it I need to shed some bulk again so will start tomorrow. Only have Asda Cornflakes or Weetabix at the mo but sure they're pretty much the same.

nutcracker Tue 11-Jan-05 16:37:49

So what do you do then, have cereal for breakfast and lunch and then a proper dinner ????

charliecat Tue 11-Jan-05 16:38:16

so it says on the adverts yeah...

nutcracker Tue 11-Jan-05 16:41:45

Right ok, will try that then. Actually have no cereal in at the mo so will have to buy some tommmrow.

Mothernature Wed 12-Jan-05 22:38:58

now just done third day of cereal diet thingy anyone else tried it..?

charliecat Thu 13-Jan-05 21:34:42

I have brought the cereal but rushed out the door so fast this morning I didnt have time to eat it...however...I gave half my lunch to a lunchless friend at work and have had no crispsa nd only 2 wee bits of choccy. What have you had for dinner?
